JULY 22-24 – ABR Midlands rally

Organised by us, Adventure Bike Rider magazine, the Midlands Rally sees a gathering of many in the adventure motorcycling community. For this year we have made a change of location, to a site that’s more road bike-friendly.

There will be an on-site enduro track, organised road and green lane rides, the famous ABR Midlands Rally burger van and beers around a campfire in the evening. All bikes, cars and vans are welcome and the new venue, accessed by a tarmac track, so there will be no access issues.

The rally starts at noon on 22 July and runs until 3 pm on 24 July at Seals Farm, Chacombe, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX17 2JR.

JULY 22-24 – Back 2 Basics Biker Bash

A rally taking place in conjunction with Adventure Before Dementia and Chill Out Rally. Expect food, a bar and stalls throughout the weekend with live music on both nights. There will also be a bike and car show on the Saturday.

JULY 23 – Conrad’s Ride

A commemorative motorcycle ride and live music event in memory of fallen soldier and biker Private Conrad Lewis. The event will raise funds for the 353 Trust, a charitable trust set up with the aim of helping members of the military community.

Riders are meeting at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire, at 9.30 am on 23 July with a prompt departure at 11 am to Old Leamingtonians RFC where there will be live music, shows and exhibitions from 1 pm.

JULY 23-24 – Llangollen International Motorcycle Festival

A motorcycle festival with loads going on. There will be 100s of bikes on display, stunt shows, test rides (including the latest CCM and Ducati ranges), live music, an autojumble and, of course, booze. Attendees will also get the chance to meet adventure motorcyclist Zoë Cano.

JULY 30 – The Great Brain Ride

Led by record-breaking adventure motorcyclist Nick Sanders, the Great Brain Ride sees hundreds of bikers ride from Liverpool to Chester in an attempt to raise thousands of pounds for The Brain Charity. Nick will be around for photos, book signings and a chat on the day and at the end of the ride, there is live music, food and camping. All proceeds go to The Brain Charity.

Meet at Neuro support, Norton Street, Liverpool, Merseyside, L3 8LR at 9 am for breakfast. The ride starts at 10.30 am and finishes at Chester Lakes, Church Lane, Doddleston, Cheshire, CH4 9LQ.

How?

AUGUST 11-14 – End of the Road Rally

A traditional greenfield rally hosted on the southernmost point of Cornwall. Expect live music, trade stalls, a bar, ride-outs and a bonfire.
