ABR Festival 2022

ABRFest22

There’ll be more opportunities to ride at the ABR Festival than you can possibly pack into one weekend. Bryn Davies picks the ones he’s most looking forward to

Finally, A bike event you can actually ride at

While we enjoy stopping for a coffee at a mountaintop café or stretching our legs after a long motorway blast, the best part of being an adventure bike rider is undoubtedly the time spent in the saddle.

Whether it’s riding with friends or striking off alone, there are few things more satisfying than discovering a new road, perfectly nailing a corner, or just cruising along with the sun on your visor.

It’s moments like these that make being a biker so enjoyable, and they’re worth celebrating. Which is exactly why we created the Adventure Bike Rider Festival.

On the weekend of 24-26 June, we’re taking over the magnificent Ragley Hall Estate in Warwickshire and turning it into an adventure motorcycling paradise. The best part? You’re invited.

Not only have we packed the place full of off-bike activities for you to enjoy (like live music, masterclass sessions, and guest speakers) but there’ll be tonnes of opportunities for you to ride throughout the weekend. A full list can be found by visiting www.abrfestival.co.uk/info, but here are four riding experiences that we reckon you’ll be especially excited about:

The AX41 Adventure Trail

The AX41 Adventure Trail is the jewel in the crown of the ABR Festival. This purpose-built, on-site trail winds its way through the grounds of the magnificent Ragley Hall Estate for 20km. Designed with big bikes in mind, it’s the perfect way to get your adventure biking fix while staying on British soil.

With sections through open grassland, woodlands, craters, and much more, the variety on offer and the views on display will have you circling back for more than one ride.

Learn how to ride off-road from the experts

Whether you’re a seasoned pro looking to take your off-road riding to the next level, or a total novice wanting to learn basic skills and techniques, the off-road skills zone is where you’ll be happy.

At the ABR Festival, you’ll find a collection of the industry’s most renowned off-road riding schools and instructors, all ready to help you improve your riding ability so you can focus more on enjoying your next adventure.

Guided and self-guided ride outs

The ABR Festival is held just a stone’s throw from some of the UK’s most picturesque locations. Using the festival as your base, you’ll be within riding distance of attractions like Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, the Malvern Hills, the Cotswolds, Warwick Castle, and much more. Follow one of our self-guided routes and get exploring.

Or, if you’re in search of the best green lanes in the area, look no further. We’ve partnered with the Trail Riding Fellowship (TRF) who will be running a series of guided green lane ride outs to explore the best legal-to-ride trails that Warwickshire, Worcestershire, and Gloucestershire have to offer without having to worry about route planning.

Ride an enduro course

Fancy taking your adventure bike around an actual enduro circuit? Well, you’re in luck. Your ABR Festival ticket will include entry to the Little London Enduro Park, which is just a short ride away from the festival. There, you’ll have access to a rugged course packed with dirt tracks, grassy fields, and tight wooded sections. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a more technical riding challenge.

And much more…

Participation is at the heart of the Adventure Bike Rider Festival, which is why we’re constantly adding new attractions and things for you to do. For a full list of what’s on and to start planning your weekend, head on over to www.abrfestival.com/info
