Leaked Royal Enfield Himalayan pictures suggest launch is near

Royal Enfield Himalayan leaked photo

It’s starting to feel like almost every week there are leaked photos of the Royal Enfield Himalayan hitting the internet. Well, that may all be about to end. The latest leaked shots of the Himalayan appear to show a finished motorcycle which in turn seems to suggest that a launch may be nearing.

The photos reveal a much more polished machine than we have previously seen, with the addition of metal panniers and fuel cans. It appears to have said goodbye to the camo paint job we recently saw which has now given way to a clean white finish.

Specific details are yet to be confirmed but the bike is believed to be touting a 410cc single-cylinder engine with a potential power output of around 28bhp. Expectations suggest that there will be an ABS-equipped version heading to Europe at some point too.

A launch in early 2016 has been touted for a while now and these latest shots seem to suggest that it won’t be far away at all. But if there’s anything for sure, it will certainly be interesting when that time does come around.
