Here at the ABR office, we’ve all been sat drooling at photos of the new Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports for 2018 as Bryn, our editor, has just returned home from the launch just outside an unusually snowy Malaga, in Spain. The rest of us, who weren’t so lucky to ride the beast in the flesh, were poised and ready to see a slideshow of the photos taken on the trip and, oh boy, they did not let us down.
Our full review of the Honda Africa Twin adventure Sports will be available to read in the next issue (March/April edition) of Adventure Bike Rider magazine. So, make sure you get your hands on a copy to read our thoughts on this meaty machine. For now, here’s the best pictures from the trip to give you a quick fix…
The tri-colour colour scheme is beautiful…
With a 24.2-litre tank and a high screen, it’s set to much up the miles with ease…
Despite its 243kg weight, it’s at home on the gravel trails…
It’s a lot meatier than the standard Africa Twin, but that means there’s more weather protection…
Damn, it’s a good looking bike…
Improved suspension, more travel and higher ground clearance allow it to soak up the bumps with ease – though it’s a lofty perch with a seat height of 920mm…
