Suzuki’s V-Strom 800DE is a brand-new middleweight offering in the adventure bike market, promising serious off-road capabilities and DR-Big inspired styling. The V-Strom 1050DE meanwhile is an update on the existing 1050 with beefed-up off-roading credentials.

The 2023 Multistrada V4 Rally is an upgraded version of Ducati’s popular Multistrada V4 that aims to increase the off-road and long-distance touring capabilities of the V4. Changes include a new 30l fuel tank, increased suspension travel, a new windshield, a lengthened tail for pillion comfort, and more.

The iconic Transalp is back for 2023, with Honda reviving the name in the form of the XL750. It represents another entry into the crowded middleweight adventure bike segment, and Honda has gone for the jack of all trades approach that earned the original Transalp its reputation.

KTM’s 890 Adventure R has received minor changes for 2023, with upgraded suspension, redesigned bodywork and a fuller fairing, and an updated TFT display, amongst other tweaks.

Electric bike manufacturer Zero has a new adventure bike offering for 2023: the DSR/X. Boasting an eye-watering 225Nm of torque, the DSR/X looks to have all the features to make it a serious option for both touring and light trail riding. Still, questions remain around the feasibility of using it away from cities, with a quoted range of 115 miles of combined highway and city riding.
