Jaw-dropping video shows Yamaha Ténéré 700 being ridden like a trials bike

Stop whatever you’re doing, take a seat, and prepare to watch something truly remarkable. This film, called The Seeker, features trials champion and superenduro racer Pol Tarrés riding a Yamaha Ténéré 700, and it will blow your mind.

We see Pol cutting through sand at the beach before he performs some remarkable stunts on top of (and on the side of…) a dam. He then rides directly up the river, hopping over boulders and fallen trees with complete ease.

The rest of the video features more stunts that continue to border on the ridiculous and absurd, as Pol puts the Ténéré to the test in a quarry, hopping over boulders without a care in the world, before he scrambles directly up the side of a Catalonian mountain. Expect big jumps, epic slides, and hillclimbs that defy gravity.

For now, you can watch Pol in action below:

Showing just what the Yamaha Ténéré 700 can do

Of course Pol Tarrés is the star of the show, but the Oscar for the best supporting actor has to go to the Yamaha Ténéré 700.

While it’s advisable to leave the boulder hopping to the professionals, there’s no doubting the mid-capacity adventure bike is one of the most capable on the market right now, and would be equally at home on a green lane or on an old military road in the Alps.

We’re fans of it here in the office, with ABR Publisher Alun has been besotted with the Ténéré since spending time with it as his long-term ride this year, declaring: “I’ve the feeling this may be the best all-round middleweight motorcycle to date.”
