Excited for Honda’s new CRF1000L Africa Twin? If you answered yes then things are about to get a whole lot better for you. Ahead of its much-anticipated arrival, Honda has started to take pre-orders for the Africa Twin.
On top of that, the first 350 UK customers to place an order will also receive a limited edition, numbered, Africa Twin TripMaster and 80-page book outlining the rally heritage of Honda’s legendary adventure motorcycle.
The Africa Twin RNS TripMaster XL is finished in a silver-anodised, machined aluminium casing and is engraved with the Africa Twin logo and a series number (up to 350 in the UK). It displays ride data such as current/top trip speed and Honda say is both fully water and dust proof.
With 2016 marking the 30th anniversary of the Africa Twin’s first Paris-Dakar victories, the limited-run book – Africa Twin, the Return of a Legend – commemorates the machine’s world-beating history. It explores the history of the Africa Twin from the XRV 650 all the way through to the new CRF1000L.
Packed with archive material, artwork and never-seen-before interviews with designers and testers, the 80-page book is created to represent a celebration of Honda’s commitment to the adventure market.
At Motorcycle Live on 28 November the Africa Twin will be unveiled in showroom-ready form for the first time.
