The Single Most Important Lesson Learnt ALWAYS, ALWAYS learn how to read 'non-alcoholic beer' in each language your going to come across. Stupidly we brought non-alcoholic beer in Germany, however we met two Danish friends who were driving to a music festival in Ukraine who were happy to share their beer's with us!

A small Europe trip me and my friend Steve took last year. We tried to plan, but in the end just went with the flow. We booked our Euro-train tickets so we had 8 days to spend plodding around Europe, with just a vague idea of place's we wanted to visit.

First up we went to Amsterdam, although the red light district was not visited we did spend some time in a few lovely coffee shops and brought some much needed supplies for the rest of the trip.
Then we went to visit one of my mum's friend and her partner who have a house in the middle of a valley in Germany. We spent a couple of days there and I would love to go back, it was amazing!
After that we just decided to head south then back up through into Luxembourg. Whenever we felt we had ridden enough for the day we would use the sat-nav's find the nearest camp-site feature and park up!

I'm not sure when the idea to tour part of Europe via motorcycle came up, and considering my financial situation and being a student at the time it was defiantly not the most sensible idea in the world. After the trip however, I was so glad that I took the plunge and went for it.

It was an incredible feeling, not knowing where you are going or where you are going to stay and I loved every moment of it.
