The Team

Publisher

Publisher Alun Davies launched Adventure Travel magazine over 23 years ago so that he could climb mountains and call it work. Following a motorcycle accident in 2010 Alun found himself with some enforced free time during which he launched ABR magazine - another of his passions.

Managing Editor

Bryn has been with ABR since day one, though he took a year-long hiatus in 2011 to ski rep in Meribel. Bryn climbed the Eiger and Mont Blanc before he was legally old enough to ride a motorcycle and has since toured in Europe, Africa, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia.

ABR Magazine Editor

When James isn’t riding motorbikes, he can usually be found reading or writing about them. Having explored much of Europe and most recently Thailand on two wheels, he’s now got his sights set on exploring more of the world by motorcycle.

Advertising Manager

Will joined the Adventure Bike Rider team in February 2017. Keen to fully immerse himself in the ABR community, Will is excited to start exploring the world on two wheels. He's your man for any marketing or advertising queries, so give him a shout and get involved.

Editorial Assistant & Subscriptions

With three kids it's hard to find time to ride, but that doesn't get in the way of Abeer's passion for all things two wheeled. Having been a member of the ABR team since 2011, Abeer is the go to person if you have a subscription or website query. And yes, you can call the ABR office and ask for A Beer.

Staff Writer

Ollie joined the ABR team at the end of 2019, having toured much of Europe on an A2 restricted BMW. After a crash in Latvia left him housebound for six weeks he began writing about bikes in his spare time and hasn’t looked back. Having proudly never owned a car, he thinks the future is two wheeled and hopes to encourage more younger riders to pick up our hobby.
