Ferry, it brings back happy memories of childhood holidays to France. I always loved arriving at Dover and getting onto the ferry, I knew the holiday was real then.

Myself…I don’t get on my nerves after a few days like everyone else and I am free to do whatever I choose.

Most dangerous moment?

Telling the girlfriend that I’d made room in the garage for a third bike…

Most memorable moment?

My first trip to Scotland. For five days our sole purpose in life was to get up, get on the bikes and ride all day long. No maps, no routes, no plans, just get up and go wherever you feel like going. Magic.

What do you miss most when travelling? 

My daughter Macie’s laugh. She has the happiest laugh in the world, always smiling.
