MATT BISHOP AND REECE GILKES (A.K.A. The Sidecar Guys) are the Guinness World Record holders for the longest journey by scooter and sidecar and the first people to ever circumnavigate the planet on a scooter with a sidecar.
Their journey took them 34,000 miles through 35 countries on the most inappropriate mode of transport imaginable. From the snows of Siberia to the sands of the Sahara, they took their SH300i Scooter and barn-built sidecar through the toughest environments on the planet.
Since scooting back to the UK, they’ve produced a book about their adventure called Our Ridiculous World (Trip) and they are also the creators of the world’s first virtual adventure festival – The Armchair Adventure Festival. Matt and Reece will be giving a talk on the main speakers' stage
