Welcome to the Adventure Bike Rider (ABR) Festival 2019
If you’ve not been to an ABR Festival, this page is a quick summary of what to expect.
The dates of the 2019 festival are Friday 12 July to Sunday 14 July. The location is the spectacular Ragley Hall Estate, Alcester, Warwickshire, B49 5NJ.
As this is our first year at Ragley Hall, numbers, and therefore tickets, are limited and will be sold via this website on a first come, first served pre-sale basis. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to allow access to day visitors without a pre-paid ticket.
The festival venue has camping on-site and campervans are welcome at extra charge. Plus, this year we’ve teamed up with Eve’s Tipi’s to offer a pre-assembled ‘Glamping’ option – you’ll need to book your weekend Festival tickets first and then book for the glamping option here. If you’d be more comfortable staying in a hotel there are plenty to cover all budgets in the nearby towns of Alcester and Stratford upon Avon
If you’d like to hear what an ABR Festival is all about from riders who’ve attended in the past, here’s a few comments from last year.
More info? Here’s a short video from the ABR Festival in 2017 – we used it to promote the 2018 festival.
Here is a video that we shot at the ABR Festival 2018
And here’s a video of our new and spectacular venue for 2019…Ragley Hall and Estate.
Below you’ll find a graphic of the layout of the ABR Festival at Ragley Hall in 2019. There’s an Adventure Trail, manufacturer test ride area, plus an Adventure Park where you can test your off-road riding skills. The Adventure Village is where you’ll find food stalls, a full bar, trade stands and live music in the evenings. And we’re even thinking about setting up a few activities on the lake. Keep tuned for more information.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION :
The fantastic on-site, off-road Adventure Trail and Adventure Park are for leisure riding only. They both offer a great opportunity for adventure bike owners to test their off-road skills in a non-competitive environment and with that in mind, no unregistered ‘Enduro’ or ‘Motorcross’ bikes will be allowed on the course, road legal bikes and riders only.
We’ve also teamed up with Little London Enduro Circuit, which is a short ride from Ragley Hall. The circuit is for our exclusive use over the weekend and entry is free for all ABR Festival goers. The enduro circuit will be open to all road legal motorcycles, but is strictly leisure riding only – absolutely no competitive racing or non road legal motorcycles allowed.
There’ll be green lane ride outs for you to join, road rides taking in the best of the Cotswolds and test rides on 2019’s new adventure bikes from just about every motorcycle manufacturer including BMW, Yamaha, Honda, Ducati, Triumph, Royal Enfield, KTM, Suzuki and more.
More features, events, details and facilities will be announced over the coming weeks and months but for now, let’s just say you’ll be in for a great weekend in the company of likeminded riders.
I can guarantee you good times and great company so if you’d like guarantee your place at the Festival book your ticket now as it’s looking like we’re going to sell out early, just as we did in 2018.
One last thing, all of the ABR staff and I look forward to welcoming you on a (hopefully) sunny and fun-filled weekend in July 2019.
