Husqvarna updates Norden 901 Expedition for 2025

First released in 2022, the Husqvarna Norden 901 is the Swedish brand’s re-imagining of fellow Pierer Mobility stablemate KTM’s 890 Adventure.

In 2023, the Norden 901 Expedition joined the roster, which came with top-of-the-range WP Xplor suspension and a host of accessories as standard-fit such as a touring windshield, a beefy bash plate, heated grips, and soft luggage.

This added up to a superb package, and in our opinion, if you’re choosing between the two Nordens, the Expedition is the one to go for.

But you might want to hold off just a little while longer, because a new Norden 901 Expedition is heading your way for 2025.

Here’s what we know so far.

Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition 2025 changes

For 2025, the Norden 901 receives a few subtle changes. The exhaust system has been updated to comply with Euro 5+ emissions standards, there’s now a USB-C port on the left side of the dashboard, and new hazard warning lights.

Plus, in Explorer riding mode, you can now select from 10 levels of traction control to fine-tune rear wheel slip, instead of nine as previously was the case.

Minor tweaks aside, the Norden 901 Expedition also gets a fresh lick of paint, trading the handsome azure for a more rugged khaki design.

So, if you were already considering a Norden 901 Expedition, there’s not much in it between the two models. However, UK availability and pricing are still to be confirmed, so we’ll have to wait and see if the bike gets a price hike for 2025.
