It’s a thing of beauty
The Multistrada is, in my eye at least, the most visually desirable motorcycle in the adventure stable. If I just parked the bike in the living room and spent the next 20 years stroking the beautifully designed Italian curves then I’d be happy.
All day comfort
The Multistrada fits my 6ft 2in frame perfectly and Ducati would have had to seriously screw up on any new mods to make the bike anything other than all day comfortable. It’s a wonderful perch to ride long distances.
A globe-busting range
The Multistrada is thirsty and the previous V4S model’s fuel tank at 22l was too small for a big bore adventure tourer. Well, praise the Lord, there’s now a 30l aluminium tank (in place of a plastic one) on the Rally and you’d be hard pushed to see any increase in mass. Excellent.
It’s seriously capable off road
I found myself enjoying the trails on the Multistrada so much. I was hugely impressed with the way I could break later, accelerate faster, change line with more precision, and let the bike take care of so many of the finer points, whilst I enjoyed the ride.
It will make you a better rider
This bike is simply amazing in its ability to make an average rider good, a good rider great, and a great rider phenomenal. Yes, it is the best bike I’ve ever ridden, period. And, for all those of you who need to know, the larger screen works better too.
