Explore the majestic Spiti Valley in the Himalayas

The Spiti Valley in northern India is one of the most spectacular places on the planet. Rugged peaks erupt from wide, glacier-fed rivers. Towns perch on rocky outcrops, offering some of the best bedroom window views around. It’s a land of mummified monks, snow leopards, moon-like landscapes, and adventure bike riding that’s almost unparalleled.

Starting from New Delhi, the Spellbound Spiti tour travels quickly north to leave the bustling city behind and head into the Himalayan foothills. From there, you’ll climb further into the mountains, the scenery shifting from looming mountains to fertile valleys and hidden, timeless villages.

Along the way, you’ll get the chance to try local food, explore sites such as monasteries and lakes, and ride some of the highest motorable roads in the world, topping out at 4,550m. You’ll even get the chance to send a postcard from the highest post office in the world!

After nine days exploring the mountains, the tour loops back to New Delhi for your flight home.
