Honda Africa Twin updates for 2025, along with an exclusive Adventure Roads Edition

Honda’s ever-popular CRF1100L Africa Twin will be updated for the 2025 model year in the form of a new lick of paint for its big adventure bike range.

The lack of mechanical or electronic developments shouldn’t come as much of a surprise though, seeing as the Africa Twin range already received substantial updates earlier this year.

Each model gained a boost in torque, tubeless tyres, a new windshield, and a re-designed front fairing, while the touring-focused Adventure Sports version now rolls on a 19″ front wheel rather than a 21″ one, among other changes.

There was also the introduction of the Africa Twin ES model, which is the standard Africa Twin but with Showa electronic suspension fitted, along with heated grips and a 12v socket.

So, for 2025, Honda is retaining the mechanical specifications of each model but bringing in some fresh colour schemes for the big adventure bike.

However, it has also released a limited-edition Honda Adventure Roads version of the Africa Twin exclusively for the UK market.

More information on that below, but first, let’s take a look at the new colours for 2025.

Africa Twin and Africa Twin ES

Honda Africa Twin MY25

For 2025, the standard Africa Twin will be available in the Grand Prix Red and the Matt Ballistic Black Metallic.

The version with electronic suspension, the Africa Twin ES, will also be available in both those colours, alongside a new Pearl Hawkseye Blue Metallic Tricolour, which has been updated from the previous Pearl Glare White and now features black rims.

Africa Twin Adventure Sports

Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports MY25

Meanwhile, the Africa Twin Adventure Sports will now be available in Matt Iridium Grey Metallic alongside the returning Pearl Glare White.
