What makes a brilliant motorcycle video? We’d probably start with crystal clear footage, stunning scenery and clever editing. If you agree, you’re going to love this brilliant video of a motorcycle tour through Europe.
Filmed by a guy called Finn (Finnoctane on YouTube), the video follows four riders on their 10-day tour of Europe, averaging eight hours and 250 miles of riding each day.
The trip saw the riders cover 3,000 miles as they travelled from London to Tuscany via France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Along the way they attempted to include some of Europe’s best motorcycle roads, including Timmelsjoch Pass, Furka Pass and Grimsel Pass to name but a few.
In testament to the idea that you don’t need an adventure bike to have an adventure, the bikes used on this tour consisted of a KTM 990 Superduke R, Triumph Daytona 675R, Suzuki GSX-S1000 and a Yamaha MT-09 Street Rally.
The tour genuinely looked amazing and the video has definitely made us excited for the opportunities to come in spring and summer. In the words of the filmmaker himself, “If you pack as much as we did within 10 days (France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland) you’ll find your eyes are overloaded from trying to absorb the spectacular scenery!” Here’s a little taster…
