Re: Open face helmets

Arai CT-RAM. Extended lower protection and excellent venting for European summers. Or Tour X f/f - better venting than most flips.

Hi Alun, I'd be grateful if you could put me down for this. I'll be turning up with the Afy and tent on Friday. Cheers, D.

Re: Recomend me a chain and ground anchor

Hi Ben Thatcham Approved seems to be the best guarantee for ground anchors. For Chains/Padlocks I always go for ABUS. If of any interest to you I have a brand new Thatcham Approved Abus Ground (or wall-mounted) Anchor which sell for £80+. It comes complete with serious anchor bolts and has the benef...

Re: None of us have a clue how to do this …

Very many thanks to Mike for instigating, Russ for route-planning and PeeJay for leading. Win Green was fab' - and just perfect! Had a great time on our first ABRR outing, with a great bunch of guys, and looking forward to re-joining the ABR again, before too long. Cheers.

Re: None of us have a clue how to do this …

Sounds Good, Ross. I was thinking of camping on the Saturday evening, too.

Once I've had confirmation there's a place for me, I'll book the camping at The Barge.

So hopefully catch you there on the Friday night

Cheers, Dave.

Re: None of us have a clue how to do this …

Hi, any room for +1 (done a handful of slow off-roads with BTBC)?

Also, planning to pitch-up the night before at http://www.the-barge-inn.com/index.php.

I take it the meet is still 9.00am at Pewsey Wharf?

Cheers

Dave Black
