Rant time !!!

Just taken off a EO7 and replaced it with a half eatern Karoo 2 took me 25mins and another half hour offering the wheel back up and KNOCKING THE SPACERS OUT :angry:

If i could get hole of the little swine that came up with that idea i'd give him a right good talking to..................TWAT :angry:

your supposed to remove the spacers before fitting the tyre :S and use some copper slip ...




occasionaly ...like maintenance :ohmy: :whistle:


tip (thumbs) ..put a dab of different coloured paint on each side spacer..then they dont get mixed up :laugh: :laugh:

Or buy a sensibly designed bike (such as a KTM) where the spacers are interchangeable :)

yeah the only reason ktm do that is they know most ktm owners are thick as f**k :laugh:

presumably you have a large KTM stable?

Actually, some KTM owners are surprisingly capable, for example I can now tie my own shoelaces......

Captive Spacers. The 18" wheel I've now got in my Tenere has them fitted and putting the wheel back suddenly becomes very easy :)

My KTM and Husaberg both have captive spacers - sensible design.

on my first GSXR750 (k6)i took the front wheel to the local dealer to have a new tyre fitted,when i got it home and tried to refit the wheel i could only find 1 wheel spacer, hunted the garage over the next few days emptying everything out to no avail. Eventually gave up and went back to the dealer to order a new wheel spacer only to be told that they only have 1 as the spindle acts as a spacer on one side. I am a Twat :pinch:
