Does anybody know of anywhere in the UK that sells them, I don't mean massive ones but about 3"x2", or do you try and get them in souvenir shops etc 'en route'/ to be honest I have never seen many on the road.
Any UK links guys?
U get them when you travel, not in the uk, although as u are in the navy, may be u dont get to stop at the local tacky shop.? in every country u go through.

Feck 'em if they can't take a joke... we like stickers!

The tackier and more obscure the better ...so what ... they are our stickers on our bikes :P

All bought or obtained en-route to or just somewhere and all will stay on the panniers they are on... don't give a hoot what is on them, unless they are really tacky then they become a "must have" purchase, and lots of them were freebies :D

That's right each to their own. Some like to pop stickers all over their pride and joy, and some like me would rather not. Live and let live !!

I´ve got a couple of country stickers on me panniers - not many, but a few I picked up en route - but what about those I also lost en route (due to bad weather / sand blasting)? Is there some sort of international stickering standard to go along with the rules?

Oh, I have a couple of Dakar ones on the bike too. I´m a fan - and they look good. But they also act as tank protectors. Not done the Dakar, but I have ridden some of the same country (and having done that there is no way I would ever do the Dakar :woohoo: those guys/gals are bonkers!). Scared me enough sometimes just riding the roads there!

The reason I don't put stickers of the places I've been to on my bike is that I'd only have 2!

Weymouth and Norfolk.

I do have the Dakar logo on my bike though, it did go there with its previous owner, so in a tenuous way it's almost kind of justified.

I like seeing a few stickers on bike luggage myself - makes for an interesting conversation starter.

The only ones I don't get are those Scottish saltires with 'Ecosse' on them.
What's that all about then ? do the sweaties want the french to know they can write in french, or do they only want the french to know that it's a sweatie owned vehicle ???

No doubt someone will come along & enlighten me

That's really quite cool, I'd find stickers for Weymouth and Norfolk just for a laugh

The problem is each time I sell my bikes and gear all the stickers collected go, them I'm left looking like a travel virgin
