Where do you guys purchase your country stickers from that go on your top boxes/panniers/4x4's?
Does anybody know of anywhere in the UK that sells them, I don't mean massive ones but about 3"x2", or do you try and get them in souvenir shops etc 'en route'/ to be honest I have never seen many on the road.
Any UK links guys?

Country stickers?
When I was on my travels I was told there are a whole set of rules associated with stickers of this type, such as:
1. The sticker must only be purchased in the country to which it relates.
2. The sticker must only be displayed on a bike or bike part that was part of the journey through the country concerned.
3. Stickers cannot be replaced without the replacement also complying with rules 1& 2.
4. Bad luck will befall anyone not following the sticker rules.
To be fair, part of the fun of travelling is trying to find the best stickers for a given place. On our trip we had someone who bought a set of complete stickers for the countries we would be travelling through in advance. He had a lot of bad luck too, so perhaps rule 4 is true!
As to where to find them, any shop selling tourist tat will usually have a sticker or two. Happy hunting!

While i think 'rules is for fools' mostly, and its your trip so do what you want not what others say you must, i must admit if you put loads of stickers of places you havent been to yet on shiny new luggage, you will look a twonkadoctorzippy wrote:When I was on my travels I was told there are a whole set of rules associated with stickers of this type, such as:

Re: Country stickers?
Why would you want to cover a bike in stickers, surely its going to the places that counts not getting a sticker to prove it, seems to me like cock mesuring. still everyone to their own I geus. Just dosn't do it for me.
