Say hello to the 640 ADV B)

First impressions...its trying to kill me!
In all fairness the bike was taken straight from the trailer and out on a ride,
Patta did mention the bike had been stood and the fuel would probably be stale but impatience won
Every slow corner or every junction the bike would stall and lock the back wheel unless I had the choke full on , sailing nicely over a t-junction into a hedge (slowly
Been told to drain fuel , clean carb or turn up idle so will put into practice tomorrow
Considering its 40-50kg heavier than the 400, it feels remarkably nimble and far more balanced than the EXC.
Few things will change , more to personalise than need.
Wider footpegs without the rubber (recommendations please)
It has oxford heated grips which are wonderful but too fat for my girly short fingers, apparently you can get slimmer sport option?
Tyres, the rear TKC is snaking everywhere and in need of change so a set of Mitas CO-9s will be ordered

On the whole I've been lucky to purchase a well loved and looked after bike, so thankyou Debs
few photos from Sunday.
Only tried a few easy lanes.

Back home in need of a bath

It was cold, I needed warming up

Colour co-ordinated Russian farkle

I'm after a new inline filter and some farkle style braided petrol hose and connectors (well the rest of the bike looks great so why not! )

Kindly lent by my next door neighbour to get Fatty out of the garden

I think we're going to get along just fine. The bike looks gorgeous and seems to turn heads, Sounds wonderful and once the stalling is sorted I reckon will ride wonderful too.
Happy days B)
