If you've got a copy of issue 88 of Adventure Bike Rider magazine, then you'll find what might just be the best coast-to-coast route we have ever ridden in the UK. 

Seriously, this route, stretching from the beach at Askam-in-Furness on the west coast all the way to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne in the North Sea, is a must-ride for anyone looking for a homegrown adventure. 

The best part is you can take one of two route options. This means you can ride the entire journey on paved roads, or you can take on a series of spectacular byways and gravel roads along the way.
