I left a front tyre out in the rain for several months and the inside of it got filled up with water, which I've now emptied and dried out. I'm assuming it's ok to use ? Or is it?
It's a Michelin 2ct 120/70 17, worth about £100, so I'm reluctant to junk it...(I took it off the bike and somehow forgot that I'd put it under my hedge for the evening, meaning to put it away properly the following morning but I forgot. That was 9 months ago
Tyres, does it matter if they get water inside them?

Providing the casing is intact and none of the steel elements has been exposed (but you shouldn't use a tyre in that condition anyway).
I use loads of car shampoo & water when I fit my own tyres.
It's a bugger to get the water out though...only way is to dry it with a towel.
