Old bike/camping kit

Post by canazei1200 »

just an idea WE( me and the wife) seem to have loads of older bike kit in our house now that 2 of ride, some in good nick, some well used, some stuff Ive tried to sell but no joy. Would any of you on the site be interested in a swap shop type tab, where you could list the old stuff youve got, then if someone wants it they just pay postage or swap an item with you, could work for bike kit, camping gear ect,in these days of limited money it might help a few others out and I for one cannot afford my bike holidays, new kit, serviceing, tax, insurance, warranty , bike payments ect, so I ll stick with the kit Ive got, but I do have quite a few bits neither me or my wife use anymore, what do people think????? or is it too hard to do, trust not as described ect ect

Yep, good idea. I've got a pair of buffalo textile trousers in large and long. They came with a bike but I'm a bit smaller and shorter. Free to anyone for the cost of the postage.

Cheers

A sticky in the forsale-wanted category under say "Free to a good home" would be good, I'm sure we all have stuff others could make use of. I think its a great idea.

I've just been too busy Mr selous to get up to you, my bikes laid up for some work for the foreseeable now, so don't hang on to them on my account.
