Re: Kove 800x
Is that a clone of the BMW engine in a Tenere clone chassis...looks better than the other Chinese offering in that segment.

Re: Kove 800x
I've read elsewhere that it's a copy of the old KTM 790 engine built in the same factory.
Engine looks much like these.

We did see one of these in NZ when the very helpful dealer https://www.drmoto.co.nz sorted out some DR replacement parts on Mr Coles bike.

Curb weight 183kg on their site https://kovemoto.com/index.php?c=show&id=10
The engines different to the KTM 790/CFMoto 800 unit to me but Kove list exactly the same bore x stroke.

Re: Kove 800x
Both Chinese, so price pretty much the same. The 790 is cheap for a KTM, and dear for a Chinese bike.
China's a huge gamble for a Euro manufacturer. Ducati did themselves a load of no good by 'outsourcing' the production of singles to Spain in the 1970s (yes, I am that old). Remember the '24 Horas' ...quickly renamed the 24 Horrors by British dealers? Tainted the Ducati name for about 20 years after 2 years of production.
