Another one bites the dust. AJP main dealer goes puff...

Post by SteveR »

Notice to all customers, due to the lack of sales, price increases internal and external, losses sustained during BREXIT and afterwards. Garw Valley Motor Cycles has now ceased trading and is no longer an AJP Motos Dealer or AJS Motorcycles Ltd. (UK) dealer, if you need any assistance with your bike please contact AJS on 01264 352712, if you require help with your AJP please contact your local dealer or email enquiries@ajpmotos.co.uk .

All staff have been laid off and most have found alternative employment elsewhere we wish them good luck in the future! GVMC would also like to thank all who have supported us through this epic journey that we have ridden through together, the rough & the smooth, sadly all good things must come to an end. Thank you all again and ride safe! Please note any orders that are outstanding will be processed, but they will be the last.

That's a shame but I doubt it's got anything to do with Brexit. Bike sales are increasing not declining. it's only 4 months since the referendum and there is no way they would have been affected so much by that to go bust when other dealers are booming.

shame but they are hardly top sellers , when did you see an AJS or AJP bike last ? euro to pound might have some impact on it .how many bikes did they sell in a year ? just that most buy parts and clothing on the internet these days . sorry to say it will happen again some where ..

to those who are cynical about brexit effect. Every currency analyst is predicting euro pound parity next year. that means anything from europe including your bikes will be nearly 30% more expensive than in June.
