Charley Boorman injured at triumph launch

Appears Mr Boorman has been involved in an accident with a car this morning in Portugal at the triumph Explorer launch

+1, I met him in the Green Room at Sky TV (I was doing a telly interview for a Kids Cancer Charity I work With) and we got nattering, Russ Malkin was there too - Russ was a little shy, but Charley was making the brews and being genuinely nice - lovely guy.

Gotta make a living somehow!

And - if early reports are right - this goes to prove my theory, that cars are bloody dangerous, and he should have been on a bike!

I met Charlie and simon pavey on tour in middlesborough, they signed my lid and were great guys, (thumbs)

Charley Update: @charleyboorman is now in surgery but was in good spirits before going in. Was smiling and joking before he seen the needle!
