Zumo 550?

My Zumo seems to be brain farting, will work for about 30min then decides it can't find where it is going and looses all the map.
When switched off and on again all ok...
Any Ideas?
Have just updated and still the same problem...

My Zumo 400 will 'die' in very hot conditions, I unscrew the battery and then reconnect and its good to go again, don't know if that is any help :side:

don't know if this is the same issue,
a couple of years back when I had my 550
had a similar problem
working ok then freezing up
turned out to be a conflict of maps
depending which program you use to plan trip
could be a slightly different (earlier/later) map set
causing the unit to hang or crash

Yep mine brainfarts a lot more so in hot conditions , just turns itself off !!! ball ache really cos when i turn it on again it need to go through all the agree shite
Been looking at S/H zumo 660 but price is way to much ......looks like i'm sticking to "PAPER"

Thought you had a nuvi550 not a zumo....like mine?..

If so bring it along to Garys and ill have a look ...may just need software update...or the maps you have are fuddled...lol
