Ever thought that someone shold get into biking.

Post by Road2Manchester »

Took a guy on th help me at work. 51 years old with 9 kids..... no teeth.

He supports Man Utd and there is nothing wrong with that BUT.

His 13 year old son is good at footy and was at a match with scouts from local clubs,I asked him what would he do if Man City offered him a training spot.

No way. Nit a kin chance.

Bit harsh I thought, Chance to earn a million and get them a bigger house and some condoms.

Then today he refused a cuppa tea from a customer because it was in a red cup !!!!

Now I am a fair bloke, but what the fook do I say to that ??? What a moron,,

This man needs to get a bike to allow him some growing up time away from the 9 sprogs and see that there are better ways to vent his frustration.

i have to consider his future as an ambassador for my company .... :silly: :(

Somewhere between Bob Hope and No Hope I think .

I work with a couple of United die hards. Good lads though.

But if he is a united supporter why turn down the tea In a red cup.
Boo :-p

So is it that he's got 9 kids, he's got no teeth or that he's passionate about football to the level that he won't drink out of what he considers to be the wrong coloured cup and wants his son to play for the team he supports that's making you consider sacking him?

He obviously came across as someone you'd want to employ when you interviewed him and if he can do his job properly, turns up on time and puts a full shift in then why make him unemployed?

We hear so many bad things about the parents of a large number of kids not wanting to work and sponging off the state yet here's a guy who obviously impressed you at first being slung out for what appear to be fairly odd reasons.

It's your business and you alone know how you want to run it but once you start discussing employees on the internet you're leaving yourself open to comments from both points of view.

Defiantly he should be into biking.
He would learn that passionately supporting a single brand does not exist in the harmonious world of The Biker
