You should have been at the XT660 meet in the Lakes last weekend.... 80mph gusts and rain that would have worried Noah!

Jim

You'll be a long time dead!! It's better to regret the things you have done, than not done!Do the Elephant Rally....if that is not on.....do the Dragon Rally.

I'll be doing both next year with at least 4 others, you're more than welcome to tag along...start eating some Snickers and GET SOME NUTS!!

  Its on the list of things to do i wanted to go this year but couldn't get leave. I will go next year if i can although I,m off to the Pyrenees in August and Morocco next year so depends on getting time off from work and family.

Keep me in the loop though and come camping in the winter just for a laugh :) and try out your kit.

Sounds good - so long as it's down South; that way i can nip home & drink my own shandy if it gets a bit chilly
"You're in a desert, walking along in the sand when all of a sudden you look down.."

"What desert?"

"Doesn't make any difference what desert, it's completely hypothetical"

"Then how come i'd be there?"

"Maybe you're fed up, maybe you wanna be by yourself, who knows?"

I'm up for that Jim, get some practice in for the elephant rally. Perhaps I could strap a straw bale on the luggage rack to put the tent on:blink:
