Helen working(swmbo) weather great so decided to go for a ride to portpatrick. Sandwiches/coffee and ciggies all sorted.
Dumfries to crocketford on the A75 then the A712 across to New Galloway, coffee/ciggie stop at the ken bridge hotel then carried on the A712 over clatteringshaws to Newton Stewart.Another blast along the A75 towards Stranraer before turning of for portpatrick.
Return journey was along the coast road A747 port william, Wigtown and Newton stewart.
Final blast back home via A75, just in time to start night shift.

Great pics and looks like great weather. Lovely part of SW scotland, often missed out by the masses so usually nice 'n quiet.

I rode through this area on our tour last year, we overnighted on Bute, my missus birthplace.
Lovely part of the country and worth a longer look next time. B)
