I've been looking around for a solution to lighting for a while now and couldn't decide what to do then i came across this light bar supposedly designed for motor sports but is road legal when hooked up to the main beam.
i didn't fancy going down the spot lamp route and fancied trying to graft one of these on and do something a bit different. i was hoping i would be able to fashion a bracket and fit it behind the front grill but it didn't work out like that.
there was a few things i had to move around and a bit of sawing & drilling to be done.
if anyones interested in more pics of how i did it just reply. it wasn't pretty but it works! took it for test ride and i don't know how i lasted so long without it.

When you say it works well
What kind of light pattern are you getting
Any of the leds I've seen so far tend to give a good bright light which is great to get you seen but they have been poor in achieving any real distance

Re: ktm 950 light bar
I will try and get some pictures or video if it helps. I'd say the beam has improved in all ways
Re: ktm 950 light bar
That would be good
If there was one with the bike headlights only and then one with the lightbar included
I know that it can be hard to get decent pictures in the darkness but it would be very useful

Re: ktm 950 light bar
If I was putting extra lights on my KTM, I'd want them to turn with the handlebar.

Re: ktm 950 light bar
I first came across these light bars fitted to a couple of cars on the North West Stages Rally a few weeks ago now I'm from the 2 Cibie Super Oscars & 2 Cibie Oscars rally car era but I was impressed with the light output from the cars that had the light bars fitted the North West Stages is on Motors TV tonight at 9pm it will give you an idea of the light output maybe if not it will be worth a watch??
***just like Britney Spears oops I did it again……sold the Scrambler & as of now there may not be a replacement***
Re: ktm 950 light bar
yes got the pics tonight it was raining so i didn't get a chance to get all the gear out for a better pic so they might be a bit shaky 5 mins
