If it doesnt have dirt on it, its because you're not riding it hard enough

They are fab the drift cameras :-) The only thing I dont like is Im never too sure when I press the remote that is is filming? Missed a really good ride in the snow, in Scotland, on a nice little track a few months ago because I thought it was on.

The 720 cannot accept an external mic which would improve the sound recording abilty but the 1080 can. the newer ghost has now got a remote that lights up with different colours to give a visible check of wether it is actually recording or not without having to see the camera itself. Looks really good but now getting a lot more expensive as it is upgraded with all sorts of wizardry?

Had the 720 till it fell off my road lid, my only gripes...

Is it on?
Frozen and won't stop recording.

Otherwise I'm finding it difficult to justify replacing it with a ghost when I could buy two 720's and have change.

to me the mic issue isnt really a issue i dont do running commentary so i can live without one, and any wind noise can be sorted with some editing to add music.
any of you have a drift with a external mic that you can post a vid here so we can have a ear on how much difference it makes?
