Recommend me a self inflating mat

Hi folks

Looking to replace my current matress which is the six tube air bed type thing, although it works fine, I think the time has come to upgrade.

I'm looking for something that is self inflating, is comfortable and if possible has a small pack size.

I will be calling into Cotswolds Belfast over the weekend to see what they have. I was thinking about a Therm-a-Rest NeoAir until I seen the price £120 hmy:

What do you use and recommend

last year was following the amazon over the winter and got gelert 40 mm thickness 3/4 x-treme lite for 7-8 quid (was a massive sale).

not everyone's cup of tea, but I am very happy - really comfortable, and only the size of a loaf of bread when packed.

the only drawback is that 3/4 length you can not use in cold temperatures, otherwise the legs starts freezing.

I had a multimat 25 to start with and very happy ..small pack size and no cold from ground..but it developed leaks all over bit like a fizzy sieve..

So bought a thermarest basecamp..absolutely brilliant it does self unflate and so comfy and warm..only downside is big pack size but they do smaller ones..and a excellent customer service and warranty..

my advice check out a few different makes..some like the 3/4 length other like me the full monty

I like a decent size mat but also want small pack size. After looking at several out there and trying them settled on this one and it won't break the bank - got great reviews too - 4.5cm thick - now 4cm thick on the new ones

In an Aldi 40ltr dry bag I now have my Coleman Phad X3, a picnic carpet (I like my creature comforts inside the tent!), an additional grounsheet, my sleeping bag, a bivvy bag and theres still a bit of space for a silk liner - couldn't get my pipe and slippers in though

ive got the Exped 9 synmatt...paid about £90 for it. Best 90 beans ive ever spent!

I put off buying one for ages because i thought paying 90 quid for a blow up bed was stupid...until Dubber68 lent me one to use at the boil rally. I went out and bought one straight away.

comfy, light, warm, well made and packs down small.
