Keeping boots dry

Post by Adrian »

Silly question time :)
Any advice on keeping my feet dry?
I have a pair of leather Hein Gerike boots but they are not waterproof and I can't afford any new ones .

I'm open to suggestions thanks

You have 2 options, the waterproof overboots or some gortex socks. I use sealskins but that is because our shop stocks them and I get them cheap ;) . Ex-military is always an option. I also bought some of those over wellies that come from Russia off of this forum for river crossings etc.

Carrier bags over your socks. Why over complicate and over spend?

Do this and you will afford waterproof boots a little sooner, also even with dry boots the above will keep feet warmer!
And it's a good place to carry a rubbish bag for camping lol
