Country stickers?

a) How many forum members have Dakar stickers on their bikes?

b) How many forum members have competed in the Dakar rally?

But lets not stop there; I have a Globebusters sticker on my panniers - but I've bought a couple of their DVDs & got this years brochure. IS that OK?

I think I'd better get my coat
Dakar Stickers on their bikes?? That's as bad as those boy racers running around in their lowered 1100cc Citroen Saxos with Nurbugring Stickers on the bumper !! LOL

i see where you are trying go with it, and guilty as charged i have said dakar sticker on mine. and no, ive not done the dakar. but that, and your globebuster sticker, are company trademarks not the country stickers as mentioned. so its like wearing an adidas teeshirt and being a big fat bastard not remotely interested in sport, which i am also guilty of as i type this.
i also have a "kiss my arse" sticker on my topbox, i wont be going there either mate :P

back to the country stickers, are we talking like the oval GB we have to put on the back when we go away or those cool little sheilds and coats of arms in the pic earlier? is there a British one? we dont seem to bother but you see them all the time in europe.
im pretty sure its actually illegal to display the wrong oval thingy.

a tip from experience;
dont buy a 2' tall straw donkey in southern spain, bungee net it to the back of your bike and expect it to be in one piece when you get to santander. it blew to bits on the autoroute and now i have a ribbon bracelet with a little bell on (that was the donkey's collar)

At the next meet I'm going to quietly stick them on peoples panniers & take pictures to be used as 'evidence'

[ebay]370121442419[/ebay]

Etc... Etc....

And yes if you have not got an Europe or GB, England, Scotland, Wales, NI, (Why not Kernow?) flag number plate then you need one of these....

Other sizes and colours are illegal to use....

A while ago there were some square yellow GB stickers being sold.... They looked very much like German Police ID. Stickers...... And got some people into a spot of trouble....

On that subject, why do they tow £18,000 caravans with £1500 cars? Seems the wrong way round to me. :silly:

I couldn’t agree more bro!

I have the distinct pleasure of working in ‘fortress’ Mayfair. Trust me when I say that The Road of Bones is considerably easier than trying to get to than Berkeley Square at the moment. In fact, I’m going to get some ‘Mayfair Olympics 2012’ stickers made up. Woe betide anyone I see with one on their panniers who didn’t brave the threat of zillion pound fines & life imprisonment for riding on roads like Park Lane that we have already paid to use
