Like the name! :P :P :P Nothing quite like naming your bike to give it additional character! I went for 'Diesel' for the DR, due it being and agricultural beast! (thumbs)

She reminds me of some rough old bird I used to know, Fugly in the extreme but a heart of gold.

This week its...

new plug
new oil and filter
brake fluids changed
new pads
suspenders off and serviced
linkages serviced
Air filter cleaned
swing arm and head stock stripped and cleaned
Frame painted (now not powder coating as I'm bond to scratch it first time out)
then all back together and play time (thumbs)

cheers Spud ;)

Just ordered a set of head bearing as they are starting to wear and seeing as the bike is nude at the moment it would be rude not to...

Have you put the engine back in yet? I remember when doing mine some years ago, it seemed like it had grown bigger and was impossible to put in without scratching the frame, a lot!. After trying a few things, I used some cut up thick plastic cartons to lay against the paint then held in place with tape.

Best of luck with the rebuild. Any pics of the seat job and general rebuild please? Pictures add a lot to the entertainment factor. (thumbs)
