Enjoy yourselves folks - we are at a local rally this weekend which the club attend every year in memory of a deceased member. It was one of his favourites.

I've not long got in, fantastic day for me, really really enjoyed it. B)
Really glad I came down, despite it being rather cold on the way down as I had set off at 5:15.
Thanks for the teas and bacon & sausage roll SB, they were most welcoming and appreciated.
Nice to see a few familiar faces, PeeJay, Davsato and Tramp, and meeting new ones too,
Clive, orsoncart, oilyman(?), GS rider and the DR rider (sorry guys I just can't take too many names in in one day
I'd like to say that it was nice to meet Jim Lovell but I was bought up not to tell lies
His son is a good ol boy though, (I'm sure I poached his seat by the fire  sorry Tom
We ended up in a place called Portland Bill (I thought it was a kids programme  )
Almost got a pic for the 'Your bike and a lighthouse' thread but the sun wasn't in the right position so here's a pic of our bikes.............

And a lighthouse.........

You'll just have to take our word that they were next to each other.
I stumbled across a few waifs and strays, but then realised they were the guys who I had ridden down there with.

Oh BTW, did you all check your boots after leaving the petrol station?
It was only whilst in the shop that I realised that I had trod in dogshit (which Davsato pointed out to me and said 'Careful, dont tread in that'), anyway, you were all queued up behind me so you all got to share it. :woohoo:
It was a long old drag home by the end of the day, I stopped on the M3 services (Rowham or something?) for a 10 minute break then another 10 minutes at Fleet services.
I would normally stop at Clacketts too but just had to get home, my arse is still numb. :pinch:
398 miles in a day though, not bad.
I look forward to all of your pics and tales of drunkeness in the evenings.
Safe journey home to you all.

good to see you again jerry, glad you made it home safe and sound. Just sat round the campfire boiling our eyeballs out, trying to use up the mountain of wood

Big THANK YOU! Jim & Family for organising this.
As a virgin to bike rally’s I was wandering what I was getting myself into after hearing all the things that go on at places like Bulldog bash which is the reason I’ve never been to a bike one before but was pleasantly surprise and had a great time. I couldn’t meet a nicer bunch of people.
Photo's from the event are on another thread please add your own if you took some.
