Re: Bike Show
Just wanted to say thanks to all the ABR's who dropped in to say hello at the Touratech stand - especially those that bought something (cheers Tommy)!
Look forward to seeing you at the shop sometime, we're still doing rideouts road/trail all winter (snow permitting)...

Could have done with some DD forms... that way it encourages people to sign up and keeps costs down as well... which was the lecture Jules gave them while signing up for our dual membership...Richard Simpson wrote:Thanks to all who visited the TRF stand.

I hope he is. He is an absolutely brilliant guy. He has forgotten more than the rest of us ever knew about off-road issues.
I worked with him on an Appeal about a very special north Wales historic trail, which we lost the use of, due to official dishonesty. It was after that when I bowed out of trying to save trail-riding after many years of personal hard work and expense battling the corrupt and dishonest system, plus new incomer landowners with bottomless wallets.

We tried to sort DD forms but the paperwork didn't come through in time for the show, although it wasn't without trying!scouse wrote:Could have done with some DD forms... that way it encourages people to sign up and keeps costs down as well... which was the lecture Jules gave them while signing up for our dual membership...
It's interesting to see how things are developing since the Dirt Bike Show last year: the BMF was significantly better and Motorcycle Live was better again, which all tallies up with the appointment of Jack Knight as the TRF's Marketing Director (among others).

It was Jack being harangued and he agreed it was a pain not getting them through in time ... and he almost got revenge by mentioning the treasurers role is coming vacant in our region soon... I think someone will be sitting on her hands at the AGM next month...
