I've just fitted a Hagon shock, a shock from Honda would've been £900! 3 times as much!

The bike never left the factory with a Hagon shock so that has to be a mod.
So is that the same for cars when you take them into the likes of KwikFit to have the shocker & or spring replaced? In that case it is a replacement part not a modification.

I've been dwelling on this one. I mentioned it in passing in my last post.

Who ever puts the same tyres on the machine that it comes with outta the showroom ?
Surely this a big excursion from standard that we all do !

Where's the boss when you need him ;)

I smell an ABR orientated (obviously unbiased) "Insurance article" here for the MAG with some probing Q's for the Insurance selling fraternity ?

In the Worldwide ABR spirit (after all it's not a UK only thing here). Whats the rest of the worlds bke insurance like ? (Keeps the MAG international in flavour) - I'd be interested. Are we hard done by ?

Just what I was thinking too :P This would make an interesting and important article, let's see what they have to say for themselves...and while we're on the subject...has anyone, as paying customers, got any questions to ask them!!???

This could be the real nail in the coffin for biking, not the EU.

If we can't get insurance we can't ride.

I have been with Carol Nash for years and was thinking of getting a quote from bennets this time but they can get stuffed now! Vote with your feet, I am sure some one else will be glad to take our money.

Been with Carole Nash for sometime and have never been happier with them, I’ll ring them tomorrow and check what they have to say…

Well, well, well.
"Go Compare" for my TDM 900. Never been asked so many modification questions before. Can't remember any last year !

Bennetts: Unable to quote online due to modifications/adaptations.
AA: Unable to quote online due to modifications/adaptations. (who i'm currrently with !)

+ lots of others.

Only Mods are 1) Heated Grips 2) Top Box and 3) Sat Nav. Sticker question was only interested in race stuff !

Totally! Lets get to the bottom of this ABR!! Does my TRF sticker and my Touratech hand-guards and headlight protector along with my change of OE tyres to something more suited to my riding habits make me an uninsured party? If so why?

Does this mean we will all be stuck inside a death box, in traffic for 60 % of our waking life, never to experience anything more exhilarating than sticking our head out of a sunroof?

ABR - Investigate!.... I will subscribe!
