Stealing Backofbeyond's idea, here's a new thread to capture all of those wonderful lonely road photos you are all itching to share.

Here's mine to start, taken on US Route 50, named as "The Loneliest Road in America" by Life magazine in 1986 (according to Wikipedia).

The old Spanish road on the Mauri border. It just seemed to go on forever as the land either side is mined and I wasn't sure I was going in the right direction. :unsure:
