Re: Shops closing.
When I was looking at changing my car (Audi RSQ3) back in May to go back to a hot hatch, my choice was Audi S3 or BMW M135i. I had £30k in my mind.
I treated myself to a bit of a ride on the Tiger then called in to my local BMW dealer unannounced. All smiles, showed me round a newer demo model as the one I was thinking of was in the workshop and said it would be all sorted and ready the day after next.
Carried on to the Audi shop, sales guy was a biker and two staff accosted me to chat about the Tiger before I had got inside. He wasn’t exactly mr charming but took me out to the car they had. All the screens had fingerprints on and it didn’t look wow but arranged to go back two days later.
And so, first off the BMW with my wife/devils advocate and we were well cared for, the car was lovely, spotless and I really liked it. Went down to Audi, car was rot, the screens hadn’t been cleaned and I hated driving it - my wife mind read me after 200 yards.
Actually ended up buying a newer BMW from the same dealer - I emailed Audi to thank him for his time and didn’t even get a reply.

2022 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro sadly gone due to ill health.
Now on a 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X but may be fitter next year.
