It'll soon be time to ride on an incredibly important day for
motorcycling in the UK. Find your nearest start point here and remember,
ALL RUNS START AT 1pm.

Be there in plenty of time, there will be TV cameras at at least 10
start points.

Please repost the link everywhere so every rider knows.

Please remember, the strength of the day is in our conduct. Completely
blocking motorways or breaking road traffic laws will undermine all the
political negotiations to date. Please don't sell biking short.

If you care enough about motorcycling to ride on the 25th, remember,
keep left, respect other users and disperse after about 20 minutes.
Together we'll ensure our politicians keep listening. Divided we are
nothing.

Just got back from the Reading services eastbound one, very well mannered example of making a point, no one even ventured into the fast lane to overtake so the cars blasting up to us caused their own traffic jam all trying to get into the outside overtaking lane at once. People moved over to let cars on at junctions too. Hope it does some good. Well done all involved and thanks MAG for organising it. I'll be joining forthwith.

Just came back from Brampton Hut. Great turn out - probably around 400 - 500 bikes split between 2 rides one going north to Peterborough and one coming towards Cambridge. A big thanks to the police who were really great at all the traffic round-a-bouts that needed negotiating by so many bikers and to MAG for all the organization.

Went to the A5 MK meet. just over 100 bikes all behaving well, people watching from the bridges and the press takinh photographs.
No police presence all well organised, well done MAG hope it gets the publicity it deserves.

We went to A5 near MK then up to M1 Northampton , Seemed like a good turn out.

Myself, Fiona, SteveT, Davecopeland and Lowflyer took part in the Inverness on our way back from the Simmer rally in Ullapool. Good turn out.

Very large turn out at Rownhams east and west bound M27. Got good coverage on the local radio and they actually got the reasons why it happened correct including a plug for MAG.

Since I had to bail out of the Ullapool weekend thought id better do something bike related!

Passed hundreds of bikers on the M1 heading for their chosen starting points. I met up wth the guys at Junction 27 and we all headed south to get to Trowell services. A few hundred people were gathered around in the services chaperoned by 2 or 3 cop cars.





Unfortunately the weather came in and it started to rain just as we set of at 1pm. A few hundred bikes gunning their engine aroused the locals and we were off.

I actually thought we were supposed to sit in the inside lane and ride along at 40mph - well, 2 lanes were taken up and sometimes 3 lanes and the ride progressed from anywhere from 20mph to 60mph at times. The traffic tailback was mamouth!



The procession proceeded up around 2 junctions before the majority came off in order to turn around and ride back down the M1. A few of us carried on northwards.

I left the lads at Junction 28 and pushed on through the traffic and eventually caught up with the tailend of the Tibshelf procession just before Sheffield.

Hope it got the attention of whomever it was designed for.
