I spent the first week heading north ending in casablanca, then turned tail to head south to the western sahara. Once i passed agadir and the going got sandy it was a struggle on road tyres but made for some interesting riding. I slept on a roll matt i picked up from marrakech and under a blanket i got from a self proclaimed "nomad" i met in the desert, who spoiled his magic when i heard gangsters paradise coming from his pocket and he whipped out an iphone..... Time up i returned to agadir, pulling up at the hire shop with a very delicate gear pedal and a rattling chain and a bike that looked straight out of mad max, and a rider dressed like laurence of arabias confused grandson. Two weeks well spent, having caught a last minute flight, with nothing but the jeans and t shirt i was wearing, minimal cost and as alaways the random ones are the best.
Oh and did i mention all that with the missus moaning on the back, wearing matching begged and borrowed attire with a pair of my socks on her hands because we never came across any gloves.....
