Looks quite interesting. Spread out over a weekend in Northumberland, about 500 miles offroad and big bike friendly. Anyone done it before or fancy giving it a go?

Re: Kielder 500 RallyMoto event
I was just reading about it the other day on Facebook, sounds like it's brand new thing for 2019i,i know they stress it but just how big bike friendly is it,id like to do it but im a bit worried about dropping the Africa Twin,on a scale of 1-10 my off road ability comes in at 1

Well, I've joined the FB Group and there are guys asking about taking small bikes (EXC 500 I seem to recall), and getting told "No" it's too easy on them and it's really aimed at big bikes, the smallest allowed being > 140kgs such as the KTM 690s and Husky 701s. (And hopefully my X-Country)

Re: Kielder 500 RallyMoto event
The only RallyMoto event I’ve done was the Tour Of Portugal Rally in 2017. I can say that the organisation was top notch.
Fantastic roadbooks that were spot on. Great time keeping. Everything worked well.
I know others who have done other events RallyMoto and they always come back smiling and with good things to say.

Re: Kielder 500 RallyMoto event
Hi folks,
I’ve signed up for it - I’m based in Northumberland so not too far for me (I’m thinking about the others in the series too) and have ridden the Kielder Forest Drive (long gravel track) before so am expecting it to be more of the same. I’ll be on my xt660z. Seems like it’s going to be a fun weekend, and first time with a roadbook for me too!
Cheers
