Hi from Gloucester

Post by InsaneKitty »

Hi all, I'm new to all this adventure malarky :) Been riding for about 28 years and Got fed up with a daily commute on my R1 and getting older :) Yearned for more touring (done Assen, France and Germany on the R1) and was interested in green lanes and just stuff that wasn't involving getting my knee down anymore.

So tried several bikes and settled on a 2017 Tiger XRT with all the farkles :)

Done an off-road/green lane introduction day the other Saturday and I'm now hooked (knew I should have bought an XCA, but way too tall). Really enjoyed it and was the only one on a stupid heavy middleweight adv bike with pure road tyres on, had a few close calls but never dropped it and took to standing on the pegs and shifting body weight like a duck to water :)

Added a photo of the Tiger after the event....hopefully it will show up
