The team that put this together should be really proud of their efforts - it's a fantastic site.

Well done to you all hope to actually ride some small parts of it,possibly add a little to it and dream of riding the rest
Thank you All.

Excellent !

Just downloaded the France section and having a look in basecamp .

( the download is in .gdb format, far as I can see you will need garmin basecamp to open and view all the files, the individual tracks in gpx can be exported from there for anyone not running garmin such as android phone apps etc.)

Looks great and looking forward to trying some of the sections. Lots of info in the download as well as the actual tracks there are fuel, hotels, viewpoints etc and some bike shop locations with marques catered for....very thorough, a big thanks for all the hard work.

Edit: now downloaded the Portugal one which is normal .gpx file

Looking at it now and amending to gpx (then I'm going for a lie down ;-) )

As we anticipated and planned, the publication of v1.0 has allowed locals with the most intimate knowledge of the trails to look much more carefully at the route in their manors.

With 34,000km out there it's amazing that there's not been more issues - credit to the Linesmen is due in spades.

however......

TET ITALY – IMPORTANT UPDATE

The TET is about respecting trails, communities and environment. We have identified that some elements of the TET in Italy are causing concern and so Team TET have decided to stop access to the gpx file.

In the interests of the TET project please do not attempt to ride any of the Italian section that you may have downloaded until we have uploaded an amended version. We’ll have this in place as soon as possible.

Responsible use is critical to making this dream a reality for all of us.

Such an event was anticipated and the site has been designed to be able to react rapidly to such a scenario – don’t worry you’ve still got 31,000 km of TET to explore!

In the meantime we need YOUR input. We are forming a project group to review the Italian TET section in the long term. If you have local knowledge of trails and riding anywhere in Italy, please e-mail our Linesman at [email protected]

Looks like an epic project - well done to everyone involved. Now, to plan a long weekend from Manchester to Whitby, then another to South Wales...

This is awesome, just spotted Spanish Biker listed as a lines and too!
I wonder if I can ride it all before I fall to pieces?
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Yep brilliant work and a big up to the team that put this together it looks awesome. Ive already changed my road route from the Picos (Riano) to the Bardenas Reales (Tudela) next year from road to the TET section in between, and cant wait. (thumbs)
Just been looking at the satellite view at ground level (you know you grab the little man icon and plonk him on the trail and it opens up a ground view! hope that makes sense!! I'm sure there is a more techy word for this lol...) of the Spanish route and it seems to follow a road albeit a small road but tarmac none the less!!! am I looking at the right thing or is it all trails but follow alongside the road or near it? :(

Ace project. Really professional looking website.
Shame the TET Macedonia never made it, the sections we followed from the prototype routes was ace. but suppose you cant include everything.
Cant wait to get out and try more of the TET.
