Yamaha xt660z Tenere for sale

Post by scoobydidler »

My 09 Tenere is up for sale. She was my introduction to the ABR scene and has done me proud and been completely reliable. 32000 miles and approx 10 months test.

Some additions and mods.
High level mudguard (standard one included)
Barkbusters
x2 power points
Bar risers
Custom sumpguard
Custom luggage racks incorporating tool tube
Custom wide footpegs
Ohlins shock
Ohlins fork springs
Seat re shaped and re covered
Indicators repositioned and replaced
with LED's, same with the tail light.
MTC exhaust.

There are some marks here and there, the paint has rubbed through on the bottom corners of the tank where I've been gripping with the knees, hence the tank cover for prevention. It's been used but looked after. Pm me please for further details/mob number.
£3100 ono

Thanks, Chris.

Good luck with the sale Chris.
Would have been interested myself, but already have two, one here, one in das fatherland.
I like the reshaped and recovered seat on yours and would like one myself. Can I ask where you had it done? Alternatively, if you'd let it go in exchange for an unmarked standard 2009 one + some cash, please pm me.
kind regards, Mike

Thanks Mike. I know the standard seat is a bit Marmite so I'll see how it goes first.
I can put you in touch with Darren Bradford, the guy who reworked it. He's from Middlesbrough area, not a million miles from you. He made a cracking job.
Give me a shout if you'd like a number.
Thanks mate.

Yes please Chris - his number would be great, so I can give him a bell. As you say, just down the road, so an easy ride down and drop-off.

Hi scoob, bit spooky us selling at the same time, there's a full page picture in a past ABR magazine of both Teneres together! Great picture!
not sure how many miles the Tens have ridden together, probably 5,000 miles plus? Anyway good luck with the sale of old Blue, see you down south in a fortnight, John.

Just got my ten, and now every one is getting rid, you's will regret it!
I've rode many a mile in a group with this bike and can vouch for it being a great bike, ultra reliable, as it's very well maintained, I've also rode it and the ride is exceptional, ohlins front and back, best set up you can get, I have a std
Ten so can appreciate how much more refined this one is.
A bargain for someone who wants a well sorted ready to go ten.
Good luck with the sale.
