Peak or sun visor?

I have a BMW system 6 for when I'm riding 2 up, intercom and ease of use when filling up at petrol stations or passport control. Very comfortable helmet and quiet.

When I'm out on my own I like to wear an open face helmet. The one I have is a scorpion, bought from get geared.
It has a small peak and a drop down tint visor. I find it a very comfortable helmet and well made.

It's my choice if I want to wear a full or open face helmet and I'm quite well aware of the dangers in wearing a open face helmet.

the only thing that i dislike about peaks is the increased wind noise. Oh and in some instances as you do a shoulder check it might try to rip your head off with the wind pressure.

Not a fan of peaks for road riding myself. For low sun I just put a strip of black tape across the top of the visor.
Sun visors are good but not for low sun as they darken everything including the bits I need to see.
Not very stylish I know but it wotks for me.

Not a bad idea and one I've never thought of to be honest.
I've spent all my life riding with peaked helmets so it's feels more natural to me and I never have a problem with it catching the wind but again that'll be down to me only using peaked helmets. I feel a bit naked without one :huh:

Peak for me. My eyes are particularly sensitive to bright sunlight and the peak on my Bell open face is brilliant. Riding into the sun on a wet road however is a different story.....

I like both but because Arai Tour X fit me so much better than any other helmets, I guess I have to vote peak.
